Hover Fly

Meet the Hoverfly

Common in warmer months, the adult literally hovers from flower to flower collecting nectar and pollinating our plants. The larvae, looks like a caterpillar, but it actually eats Aphids which are a pest.
So the Hoverfly is one of our many good bugs that will help us with pest management! Plant flowers in among your veggies to attract these useful little critters.
